"As always, JK Rowling never lets us down. Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire is another spell-binding adventure for the young and old alike.

I've read the Harry Potter books each a couple of times, and I've lost count of how many times I've listened to my Harry Potter audio books ... yes I have them in audio book format too - I just love them!

Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire actually gets quite scary at one point. The book certainly has a much darker edge to it than the first 3 Harry Potter books, and there's even a death in it.

But what a colorful, magical and dazzling rollercoaster ride JK Rowling takes us on!

I have to admit that, of all of the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire (book 4) and Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets (book 2) are probably my least favourites. So the fact that they still get 4.5 stars out of 5 is saying something.

"Everyone says how good Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire is.

(...) I was not dissapointed. The ongoing story of the triwizard tournament keeps you reading on to find the next event. It has highs and lows inbetween, keeping the suspense going, including the quidditch world cup to begin with, which gets you into the story very quickly.

I think many people are just over praising the book when they say it makes them laugh loads aswell, but it has its fair share of comedy and witty remarks to keep it going.

And this book starts to get you thinking about Harry's future. There are many things that start happening to him which trail off to future books, and also you feel a sense of discovery and intelligence when you make links with past books.

Leading up to an emotional and surprising ending, I can honestly say that Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire is the best in the Harry Potter series, and one of my faves from all time."

Find out more about this book ...

"The fourth Harry Potter book, Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire, contains all of the 'magical' ingredients from the series' previous books, only on a larger scale, and I don't just mean the length of the book.

For example, there's the Quidditch World Cup, Hogwarts has pupils from two new schools attending it for a year, the Triwizard Tournament is reintroduced, Voldemort's sinister presence is even more pronounced and the unravelling story is increasingly intriguing.

(...) By the end of Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire the story has moved on further than in any of the previous books, for we learn the sinister reason behind a seemingly innocent disappearance, and the significance of Harry's earlier sympathetic treatment of Wormtail (...)

So whilst Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire is perhaps too long, and could have easily been shortened considerably without losing anything, the fourth Harry Potter book, is just as enjoyable and unmissable as the previous three."
