"At the time of writing this, Harry Potter And The Prison Of Azkaban (along with the 5th Harry Potter book ) are my personal favourites of the series. J K Rowling is such a good storyteller that I felt I couldn’t turn the pages quick enough towards the end of this book. Since buying the book I have bought all of the audio books, and this particular one remains one of my favorites.

As always, Stephen Fry (UK version) does a fine job of bringing J K Rowling's characters to life. In addition to the fantastic purple whirlwind otherwise known as the Knight Bus, my favourite part of Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban has to be the end. I don't think anyone could guess how the adventure finally unfurls even if they tried! I wish I could go into more detail, but I'd be spoiling the plot for you so my lips are sealed...

If you haven’t read the first and second book in the Harry Potter series, read those first. Although the books are written so you can understand them even if you haven’t read the others, I think the storyline is much more gripping when you read the books in order.

At any rate, book Harry Potter in for a listen! I can't recommend the series enough - they are truly... magical!"

"Until you've heard Stephen Fry's reading of the third Harry Potter book, Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban, you just haven't lived! From the booming barks of the dastardly Aunt Marge, to the ever-slimy drawl of Snape, and the reassuring, yet weary voice of Professor Lupin, Stephen Fry has got it cracked. He breathes new and magical life into JK Rowling's characters and positively feeds the imagination.

(...) In the car, before bed, on your iPod or wherever - this is a must have for any Harry Potter fan as well as being the perfect way to introduce reluctant readers to Harry's world. The audio book is as hard to stop listening to as the book is to put down.

(...) The Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban audio book is fairly expensive compared to a music album but this does last for 12 hours 4 minutes and is spread over 10 CDs. Every chapter is sub-divided into mini-chapters (each about a minute long) which means you can quickly skip between parts of that chapter – or, as frequently happens, repeat a particularly tasty bit of dialogue!"

-- Andrew from Oxford (UK), reviewing Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban by J K Rowling --

"Easily the best book I've ever read.

I used to mock the whole Harry Potter craze something rotten, but after telling my girlfriend I'd give the books a chance, I was hooked a chapter into Harry Potter And The Philospher's Stone.

I haven't as yet, read Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix but I've read the first 4 Harry Potter books and this is not only my favourite Harry Potter book but my favourite book in general!

I've never known characters, places and scenarios described so well without drawling on and on. You really care about the characters and the plot. It certainly isn't just for children.

The twists and turns are unexpected yet entirely plausable. Time after time you'll say "why didnt i think it was that, its so obvious now", but J. K. Rowling's knack for diversionary tactics within her writing is the best I've known. It's probably best to read the first 2 Harry Potter books before this to set the scene, but if you only read one of the series I'd highly recommend this one."
