Welcome From Sleepydust!
A big hello to you!
And a very warm welcome to those of you who have subscribed since the last issue! :-)
The Sleepydust Ezine is back with lots of interesting stuff for you. It's jam-packed with lots of the 'usuals' but hey... what's this???
Another new section! Hurrah!
The new section is called 'Get Stuck In' ... and it's all about YOU.
OK warning, warning, I'm about to get all metaphorical...
Like many people, I love to shop at the online store, 'Amazon'. And I've noticed that when I'm browsing for, say, a good book to read, I'll look for certain things. The price, the description... but the deciding factor for me is always the reviews it gets.
Why?
Because there's nothing like learning from first-hand experience. Reading a review from someone who's actually been there and done that, can be 1000 times more helpful. And this 'first hand experience' can be even more helpful in other scenarios. For example...
Q. What do you want to know when you first develop ME/CFS or Fibromyalgia?
A. You want to know what it's like, right? What to expect.
Q. When you feel as if you're the only one going through this, what do you want to know?
A. You want to know whether anyone else is going through similar ups and downs, right?
Those first hand accounts of people who have been through it, or are going through it, can help immensely. It can give you courage. It can show you that you are not alone.
So that's what this new section is all about:
'Get Stuck In' gives you the opportunity to help others by sharing your own story. And it also gives you the opportunity to read other people's experiences; To find comfort knowing that you are not alone.
So how about you take a few minutes to share story with us? Check out the 'Get Stuck In' section in this issue, for more information.
You never know. Your words may speak out to someone out there, who just needs to know that someone else has gone through something similar.
Wishing you the best in health,
Claire

Can Colon Hydrotherapy Help To Ease Your Symptoms?
If you suffer from Irritable Bowel Syndrome, then symptoms such as constipation and bloating are probably nothing new to you. But these symptoms may actually have a more sinister effect on your health than you might think…
Announcing a brand, spanking-new section. YOUR section, in fact.
Yep, this is where Sleepydust wants to hear from you...
What's YOUR Story?
ME/CFS and FMS seems to deal a different hand to every sufferer. What's your story?
Did you feel you had to fight to get diagnosed? Have you been faced with skepticism from your doctor? Do you feel misunderstood by those around you?
Or maybe you're blessed with an understanding and supportive network of friends and family? Maybe you're on the road to recovery, yourself?
One of the most common things that sufferers have told Sleepydust is how it has made them feel less alone. By knowing that there are others out there, who are going through the same thing, who are experiencing similar ups and downs, similar hopes and frustrations.
Maybe someone out there will identify with your story...

Chicken Soup For The Sleepydust Soul...
Hurrah! A fun section! Sleepydust launched this little gem last week. But in case you missed this section's launch, here's the lowdown again...
ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia can be very disabling, confusing, and lonely illnesses to live with. They are believed to be physical illnesses. But if you suffer from ME/CFS or Fibromyalgia then you'll know only too well just how dramatically they can affect every aspect of your life. Not only physically, but mentally and spiritually too.
You may have heard of the 'Chicken Soup' range of self-help books that have become so famous. Well Sleepydust thought we'd have our own 'Chicken Soup'-like section: It's all about feeling good and giving you the warm and fuzzies!
You may think this is a flippant addition to the ezine but Sleepydust has learned that feeling good about yourself, having fun, laughing, and thinking positively really can help to lift your morale and can even help to improve your quality of life, no matter how ill you are.
You can never have too much laughter and happiness in your life. That's Sleepydust's motto! But...
...we all know how difficult this can be when you're feeling so ill. So, this section is here to 'kick start' your week!
Have fun. Feel good. De-stress. It's important guys!

And Don't Forget...
The following sections and resources are always here to help you...
FREE Demo Meditation CD...
Here's a freebie for you! A top notch meditation program are giving away free demo CDs (worth $29.95 USD) and reports.
According to Bill Harris, in Mind Chatter, The National Institutes of Health reports that regular meditation reduces chronic pain, anxiety, high blood pressure, cholesterol, and stress hormone production.
And a University of Wisconsin-Madison study discovered that meditation boosts the immune system and brain function.
The demo CD gives you some background information on how the audio meditation program works, and more importantly, it provides you with a few minutes of the meditation audio for you to try out.
So it's definitely worth looking into.
I liked what I heard on the demo CD. So much so, that I eventually bought Holosync for myself. I really love it. Very much recommended.
ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia can be very lonely illnesses to live with. Sleepydust is hoping to help bridge this gap...
Now you can find friendship and support at Sleepydust's community at MySpace. Yep! Sleepydust is now officially on MySpace and Sleepydust wants to meet YOU!
As you know, we (the team behind Sleepydust) have first-hand experience of living with a chronic illness. We all know how lonely it can be at times. And that's why we're hoping to connect other Sleepydusters and ME / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome / Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia sufferers around the world, via our MySpace page.
So...
What are you waiting for? Come take a look...
If you're looking to make some new friends, or if you want to help us raise awareness, please do consider adding us to your MySpace friends.
It'd be great to meet some of you, so be sure to come along and say hi!
Please note that when Sleepydust refers to ME/CFS
in this ezine, Sleepydust is also referring to M.E., CFS, PVFS
and CFIDS, since these all (arguably) fall under the umbrella-term
'ME/CFS'.
