Graded Exercise Therapy Helped My Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

I had Graded Exercise Therapy (GET) for my Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. The treatment sessions lasted for about 9-12 months.
I found Graded Exercise Therapy to be extrememly useful as I had reached a stage where my 'boom and bust' cycle of activity was on a more level grounding to what it was.
As a joint decision with my doctor, I was put onto a Graded Exercise programme with a physiotherapist who dealt with M.E. /Chronic Fatigue Syndrome patients. It was very gradual but in the end it increased my stamina to walking for 40 mins non-stop which I was very pleased with.
The exercise used was not deemed too strenuous in any way: I was starting to increase walking a minute each week.
So if you're at a stage where you're starting to want to exercise a little more, i would recommend Graded Exercise Therapy if there is a place for you to monitor this.
