It's good that this has worked for you but I don't know how someone else can know or decide how much you are capable of doing. Obviously over time we all try to improve the length of what we do but I find keeping to schedules very dangerous.
Personally I don't believe having the will do more is enough otherwise we would all be getting well. For every story of success there's probably 10 people who have relapsed badly due to this method of treatment.
I Believe That Graded Exercise Cannot Cure ME by: Anonymous
Personally I believe that if you recover from ME via graded exercise then you didn't have it in the first place.
Chronic Fatigue and depression respond well to graded exercise, as do other fatigue states.
Unfortunately so many people, including misinformed medical personnel, think ME = CF(S)and vice versa.
This being the case, people who have chronic fatigue or another fatigue state are erroneously told that they have ME when they do not. These patients then go on to extol the virtues of graded exercise and champion its use in their recovery.
It's always good to hear of someone’s recovery from ill health but I believe that the fundamental disease process of ME means that it's impossible to recover from this condition via graded exercise.
